Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid has five trims: LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, and SX Touring. The LX features a matte black rear spoiler, chrome window surround, and projector beam headlights. Moving up to the EX adds rain-sensing wipers, roof rails, and power-adjustable exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. The EX Touring gets you a gloss black spoiler, a sunroof, a hybrid front bumper with chrome skid plate, and 18-inch gloss black wheels. On the SX, you get a smart power tailgate, while the ST Touring adds premium LED headlights.
Engine (Power)
Kia offers one hybrid engine power source for the 2023 Niro. You get a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine matched to an electric motor to give you a driving range of 479 to 588 miles on a tank of gas. The Niro Hybrid has a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for a smooth ride every time. Regenerative braking takes power lost during braking and returns it to the electric motor to be used again. You can enjoy the 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque generated by this hybrid powertrain.
Performance
Kia adds many performance features to the 2023 Niro Hybrid to improve the driving experience. Drive select modes let you customize the drive to fit road conditions or your mood. You can select from Eco and Sport modes for more precise handling. Additional features on the Niro Hybrid include electronic stability control, traction control, and hill start assist to keep you on your intended path. Drivers enjoy the EPA-estimated rating of 53 mpg combined, giving you more time on the road and away from the pumps.
Interior
Slide behind the wheel of the 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid to experience an interior created with the convenience and comfort of drivers and passengers in mind. The LX has keyless entry, cloth seating, Bluetooth, dual-zone automatic climate control, five USB ports, a six-speaker sound system, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EX adds wireless charging, a power-adjustable driver's seat, ambient lighting, heated front seats, and push-button start. You also get gloss black interior accent trim on the EX Touring. A heated steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery, driver's seat memory settings, and ventilated front seats are standard on the SX.
