The 2023 Kia Carnival is offered in different trim levels ranging from the LX, LX Seat Package, and EX, to the SX and SX Prestige. It comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, power-sliding rear side doors, and heated side mirrors. Moving up to the EX trim gives you 19-inch alloy wheels and a hands-free liftgate, while the SX trim adds black 19-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, power-folding exterior mirrors, roof rails, and an upgraded matte grille design. Opting for the SX Prestige gives you a dose of luxury with LED taillights and dual power sunroofs.
Engine (Power)
It would be hard to find another vehicle in its class that has a more powerful engine than the 2023 Kia Carnival. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine generates 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission and comes with front-wheel drive.

Interior

For the 2023 model year, you will find plenty of tech available inside of the Carnival, like the 12.3-inch infotainment display with a matching 12.3-inch digital gauge display. Technology is one of the highlights of the Carnival. Its lower trims have a large single 8.0-inch standard infotainment screen along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Up to nine USB ports are available, while the SX trim offers an available rear-seat entertainment system. Other available upgrades include satellite radio, wireless device charging, navigation, and premium stereo systems.
Safety Feature
Kia vehicles are notorious for having an abundance of driver-assistance features, and the 2023 Carnival is no different. Some features include blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and lane keep assist. The vehicle has five complete sets of LATCH connectors for the eight-passenger configuration, while the seven-passenger models have four. If these safety features aren't enough for you, add adaptive cruise control, cyclist detection, a surround-view parking camera system, and front parking sensors.
